Joe, I'm not saying you're wrong but does it say anywhere in the Constitution that it applies to non-citizens as well as citizens?
Is there a lawyer out there that can provide some clarity to this issue? If it doesn't mention non-citizens what would be the basis of extending it's rights and duties to them? I do know that non-citizens can NOT be drafted for military service because they are NOT registered for the draft. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Stop the sad attempt to spin the issue. The issue is the government grabbing people off the street and shipping them to a foreign prison with no due process. Not to mention some radicals here insisting the Constitution applies only to citizens. |
