Sounds like you have been very busy. The most I have done is cook, wash clothes, and go to the dentist. This week I get to go have a colonoscopy (not sure of the spelling).
I hope you will get more use to your machine before long. Sorry to hear duck is having to use one too. The weather here has been very mild this year. Very low humidity. But we are under a poor air quality alert until midnight Monday. Right now it's 90 but the humidity is only 48% with a small breeze. No rain. Katie came back from training for a week in Murfreesboro for her new job and the VA. The day she got home she she was sick with allergies. But she finally made it threw her four weeks of training Friday. So Monday will be her first day on her new job. At least it's not on post this time. She will be in the audiology department. She will work in the office 4 days a week and at home one day a week. It should be interesting. School will be starting again in three weeks. Boy time flies. It seems they just got out for the summer. Well I need to go and see if I can find my doll clothes patterns so I can make to clothes for Lexi's doll for her birthday. That seems to be what she is asking for the most. It's hard to believe she is almost 5. But she won't be able to start school until next year. The other day she told Katie she needed to buy some doll clothes and Katie told her she would have to buy them and did she have any money. She told Katie yes she had money. So Katie asked her where was it. Lexi looked at her and grinned and told her it's in your purse. Eva gets her braces back on next week. I don't know if I have to take her or if Ryan will be back by then. He's out storm chasing again this time in Missouri. I see it's almost time to go pick up my groceries. Oh I forgot to say we did do anything for the four of July. We never do. We can watch the fireworks from the deck in the backyard. They set them off down by the river. Bye and stay well Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Kyra, Hot here, summer has arrived. Was 93 here at the house and 83 downtown. Hope this finds you well. How was your Fourth of July? Ours was quiet, just Damon, his mom and his cousin’s son Chris. Damon smoked a tri tip, I made coleslaw and my MIL made potato salad and Jello with fruit cocktail in it. Haven’t had that in quite awhile and enjoyed it. We had dinner and conversation, didn’t even go to see fireworks but Damon and I went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream later. It was a busy short week at work but we are about done with 2022 reports. Thank goodness! Now I’m starting on January 2023 vandalism reports. They are a pain because you have to request a cost of repair for th majority of them and can’t close them until the cost of repair comes back to me. Oh well, job security! Other than that doing ok with the machine, had a break from using it because I got a head cold and cough so it wasn’t a good idea to try it (plugged up head) but have used it all this week and it’s not b too bad. I’m finding that if I am not really sleepy I don’t tolerate it very well to start. Got a post from duck and she’s started having to use one but can’t decide which to use of the nose pillows or the nose mask(I call them Pinocchio noses). Hope she get it figured out so she’s comfortable. Getting all my yarn rolled up so it’s easier to use when I start knitting again. Haven’t been doing knitting for a little while, with all the computer work I’m giving my hands a little rest. We’ve gone through the stuff in the shed and we’re close to having it ready to set up Damon’s side and finish my side. Can’t wait! Time to head off to church. Hope you, Patricia and Rebecca have a good night and a peaceful Sunday. Hope Katie and the girls and Ryan are doing well too. Love you?? Colleen Sent from my iPad |
