Hi Kyra,
Hot here, summer has arrived. Was 93 here at the house and 83 downtown. Hope this finds you well. How was your Fourth of July? Ours was quiet, just Damon, his mom and his cousin’s son Chris. Damon smoked a tri tip, I made coleslaw and my MIL made potato salad and Jello with fruit cocktail in it. Haven’t had that in quite awhile and enjoyed it. We had dinner and conversation, didn’t even go to see fireworks but Damon and I went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream later. It was a busy short week at work but we are about done with 2022 reports. Thank goodness! Now I’m starting on January 2023 vandalism reports. They are a pain because you have to request a cost of repair for th majority of them and can’t close them until the cost of repair comes back to me. Oh well, job security! Other than that doing ok with the machine, had a break from using it because I got a head cold and cough so it wasn’t a good idea to try it (plugged up head) but have used it all this week and it’s not b too bad. I’m finding that if I am not really sleepy I don’t tolerate it very well to start. Got a post from duck and she’s started having to use one but can’t decide which to use of the nose pillows or the nose mask(I call them Pinocchio noses). Hope she get it figured out so she’s comfortable. Getting all my yarn rolled up so it’s easier to use when I start knitting again. Haven’t been doing knitting for a little while, with all the computer work I’m giving my hands a little rest. We’ve gone through the stuff in the shed and we’re close to having it ready to set up Damon’s side and finish my side. Can’t wait! Time to head off to church. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Weather is not to bad here. Right now it's 86 and the humidity is 50%. The sun is out and it's nice outside. Would not mind getting some rain on and off until the 4th is over. I always worry about fires then. The weather has been pleasant. There seems to be a nice breeze blowing right now. The girls came Wed. morning for a sleep over and are going home tonight when Katie gets off work. Today is her last day at Ft. Campbell hosp. She starts training for her new job Monday. Her mother and father have gone on a trip for their anniversary and the girls came for an extended sleep over so Katie didn't have to get the up at 4:30 to get the here before she goes to work. This is the first time they have both been here for a sleep over at the same time. Hopefully the machine will grow on you the more you use it. There is a learning curve to it. Barney has to have his adjusted every now and then. Rebecca is enjoying the weather and her trampoline very much. Eva was very good on the trampoline when she was doing tumbling. Lexi's recital ended up being 3 hours long. She was tired by the time it got done. She had 5 costume changes. I can't wait until Katie gets her copy of the video they made. Lexi is in the 4 to 6 group and she is the youngest in her group and been there the least time but she did well. The little ham had to be helped off stage a couple of times. Rebecca just came in and she is ready to eat. Eat anything that will stand still longer enough for her to get a hold on it <G>. There is a competition between her and the girls as to who can eat the most. Love you too, Kyra |
