Also a whole slew of European evidence about the dangers to marine mammals have been ignored by NOAA.  Those deaths are from wind turbines that have been logged operating experience for years. Lessons learned should be heeded. 

The Virginia plans for offshore wind turbines call for 176, which appears to be an excessively large project.  And we'll be watching what Gov Youngkin's attitude is.

The Shellenberger video refers to going out and taking decibel measurements, taken with state-of-the-art hydrophones, while the ocean bottom scanning sonar was occurring.  Also taking logs of the increasingly frequent ship movements in those regions of activities. Yes,  they've collected actual data, rather than making assumptions, or relying on averages in the literature.
