I'd stick by the idea that the whales, dolphins and porpoises are well loved.
Along with mom and apple pie. My mention of platitudes was your use of the mom and apple pie as a political tool in your opposition to offshore wind farms. I am not particularly in favor of the windmills but but can't resort to the platitudes and unproven claims. Of course, you probably do not object to offshore oil drilling and just accept the harm to wildlife due to oil spills down in the gulf as part of doing business. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'd stick by the idea that the whales, dolphins and porpoises are well loved. And there's a number of sight seeing boats along the coasts from Maine to Florida taking folks out to sea to observe those beloved sea creatures. Try telling those boat operators its only "Political platitudes for political purposes." Thousands (or perhaps millions) of sight seeing customers seem to differ. We've been on both the offshore trips and the captured versions, like Florida's Sea World. Both are loved by kids & adults. And there's something special added, about the offshore versions. |
