You miss the point. Those on the Republican side of the ledger don't appear serious when attacking the evils you speak of. They run to the television screen as soon as they smell something rather than take the time to fully develop the argument and the evidence. Thus leading the other side to argue "that's old news" when they finally deliver something. To the extent any of them are/were lawyers, it's not in evidence. "Society" is under an extreme handicap in knowing what's going on so I despair of their ever resolving the problems to your satisfaction
I take you back to the Benghazi hearings. One house of Congress had Hillary in the morning; the other in the afternoon. The highly paid staffs of the R's should have been conferring during lunch to develop follow up questions from the earlier hearings. What did we get? Speechifying. I'm sure she and her staff were enjoying their wine that night. They never touched her...although they had the chances. What do you remember of that all day testimony other than "What difference does it make at this point"? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Seems that Dem's weaponization of govt and censorships are far greater concerns, than Repub's efforts towards "their own political careers" Much different severity levels involved. After society resolves weaponization, then address your other concern. That seems more logical sequence. Even the more ethically based. |
