I agree, I don't know anything about you and your life. Even poor whites have the advantages I have outlined. I know of no white people who were declined out of buying a home. Even if you didn't have the "advantages" you say I am writing of, you still had advantages just simply because you are white. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My family wasn't a product of "generations of wealth". We were poor, and just as "disadvantaged" as some of the black neighborhoods you describe. I started with none of the advantages you seem to think I did. There are other factors in life that seem to have disadvantaged whites . . . "Affirmative Action" was one. The differences you see to ascribe to race I think more is a reflection of class. |
