We are still having our yoyo weather. Today the fifties and tomorrow the 70's. Today showers and tomorrow thunderstorms. Today we have wind advisories out. It makes me nervous to watch some of the trees sway in the wind. You would think they would snap. When they have leaves and the wind gets up it will uproot the whole tree when we have had a lot of rain. Every thing is turning greener every day. The trees have started blooming it's wild. I keep waiting for the real cold to hit us again. I can remember a couple of years when we had snow on Easter.
I'm going to do my grocery shopping as soon as I get done here. I've been spoiled shopping on line. I get free pickup or delivery and double gas points. Last week gas was $3.09 a gallon and I had enough points to get $1.70 a gallon off. I like paying $1.39 for gas. When my one year membership of Boost is up I will be renewing it. Friday night I had a large filling fall out so I have to go to the dentist first thing Monday. I had some of Eva's wax from when she had braces. Good thing to because this is right where you tongue rubs. In a couple more months they will put her braces back on. Eva woke up sick Friday and I had to take her to the Drs. They said it's a stomach virus that's going around. She will able to go back to school Monday. I think I'll make a big batch of chicken noodle soup. Lexi loves it and it's one of my favorites too. She also loves cabbage soup. Now I'm hungry. So I'm off to fix lunch. I hope everything calms down at work and to get the extra help you need. Love Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Checking in with you and hoping all is going good there even with the weather. We had rain start early this morning and it has been raining off and on since. Lots of snow in our local mountains is making it cold. We just got home from seeing the movie Jesus Revolution and i was 60 inside the house and 49 outside. Brrr… Got our grocery shopping done this morning and since it was raining at the time it was a light crowd inside the store. Got a roast to make in the pressure cooker for dinner tomorrow, got some cod fillets for dinner Wednesday and we had everything else for dinners so didn’t have to buy anymore meat. Got this cute little basket that I can use for decorating for St. Patrick’s day and Easter at work. Will need to go out to the shed and get some of my Starbucks bears for those holidays. Work has been crazy. No new clerk yet but my manager has been out sick all week so interviews probably won’t be till next week or the next. Will be interesting to see who they pick. Working on two scarves right now, one is in pinks with sequins and the other in darker pinks with pom poms on the edge. Very pretty. Have been reading some too. Time to feed the cat and get ready to go to church. Hope you’re having a good day, stay warm and healthy . love you! |
