I agree with you completely and you didn't need to spend the time to illustrate all those examples. I read and remember what I read. You keep falling back on the "so's your old man defense". No president in my memory has told his followers to march on the capitol while emotions were already in flame. His failure to rein in his attorney compounded the problem. My point, which you haven't chosen to defend against, was exactly what Trump and his attorney did under those circumstances. Or maybe you have. I guess you are saying that what Trump did was good and proper actions for a sitting president.
BTW, I've added Tom Cotton and Dan Crenshaw to my team. How's your recruitment going? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Many of the beginnings of riling up political supporters against Repubs were noted as the Bush years were winding down & Obama was taking over. And have accelerated during the Trump years There's quite a pile of insulting rhetoric egging on Dems to commit violence, even before 2020's encouragement of Antifa and BLM rioting. Report titled: Democrat Leaders Have Encouraged Political Violence, Beginning With Barack Obama Click Here Click Here [and other sources] Here's some examples, in addition to the one's already mentioned: < I want you to argue with them and get in their faces -- Obama < “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. -- Obama < called Tea Party people “the teabag anti-government people” [an off-color slur] -- Obama < called America a “nation of cowards” on race -- Eric Holder < "if you see anybody from that [Trump] cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere" -- Maxine Waters < the entire Republican Party has to be burned down and no “survivors” could be left -Jennifer Rubin < “go to the Hill today, get up in the face of some congress people,” -- Cory Booker < called on liberals to fight in the streets against Trump and his supporters.--Tim Kaine. His son was arrested on a charge of second-degree felony rioting. < called for supporters to march, bleed, and die in the streets to resist Trump -- Former AG Loretta Lynch < called for unrest in the streets to pressure GOP officials -- Ayanna Pressley < the squad also raised bail funds to turn loose rioters < "There are certain things where it just takes a brass knuckle fight. . . Let’s start a real physical revolution" -- Biden < called for a 50-day “siege” on the White House. -- Occupy Wall Street group < urged Democrats to punch Trump in the face -- Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) < Holding up a gross beheaded likeness of Prez T -- Kathy Griffin < posted on Facebook her desire for Trump’s assassination -- State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D-MO) < I was shot because of the left's unhinged rhetoric -- Steve Scalise < suggested Scalise deserved it because of his views on gun rights and gay marriage -- Joy Reid < called for Republicans to be guillotined “when the revolution comes,” -- National Catholic Reporter journalist Michael Sean Winters < Celebrities: Madonna threatened to blow up the White House, when Rob Reiner called for “all-out war” against the president , and when Peter Fonda suggested that Barron Trump should be kidnapped and put in a cage with pedophiles and that Kristjen Nielson should be sexually assaulted. It is aggressive language when Bette Midler asked for Trump to be stabbed to death, , and when Larry Charles encouraged leftists to arm themselves and wage war against “MAGA people”. Underline added for the most flagrant, most violent examples. On and on. Too many examples like the above, to continue listing. On balance there's no comparison, anywhere, to the outrageous examples of urging & promoting violence coming out from the Dems. Unprecedented. Hateful. Of the lowest caliber imaginable.
