I kept my boat(s) on Seneca Creek (Goose Harbor Marina) in the 80's, 90's and 2000's.  NEVER saw any ice.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Purely anecdotal, but as a child I lived on Seneca Creek off the upper Chesapeake. Ice skating snd ice fishing every winter. always news of icebreakers in the upper bay.  No substantial ice for decades.
