While I don't agree with your premise of white advantage, which does not exist today, I thought I'd interject regarding your "kinda sorta" quote from George Santayana, which almost no one gets right, everyone takes out of context, and few attribute correctly. The quote is as follows:
Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. It behooves us not use quotes if we misquote. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Sorry Jack, You have no authority to fire me! Your frequent posts show as much bias to the far right as you try to associate mine with the far left. Someone has said if we failure to learn from the past we will repeat the mistakes of the past. Studying all the history of our country from the first whites arriving in America to yesterday is important. Sanitizing history by ignoring or denying the events, good and not so good helps all who desire to learn to be better citizens. |
