Hi Kyra,
Hope all is well on your end. We have had 3 days of rain and yesterday was really windy too. I had to get up around 1:30 this morning and it was absolutely pouring down and still was at 4am when I stirred awake enough to hear it. We’re probably going to get more rain Wednesday and Thursday but that can change. They even had two tornadoes in Los Angeles one was a category 1. Tore up a metro district and some mobile homes. Most of California is now out of the drought for how long who knows. Did you get your property taxes paid? Hope it went smoothly. Good thing those trees won’t hit your house. How’s your internet holding up? Hope it’s been fixed by now. The consultation with the car went very well. Very helpful, sense of humor, good with the patients. His name is Dr. Nguyen and he is now my cardiologist. My heart is normal, no damage and my EKG was normal when it was done there in the office. He told me if my heart starts racing I can an additional dose of the BP med that they prescribed in the ER, Diltiazem. I take it 3 times a day. So far no bleeding problems from the Pradaxa. We had to buy a new washing machine Sunday as our other one died with a blanket floating in a tub filled with water. The new one is very strange with how it washes laundry. It actually weighs and evens out the load before it washes it. Takes forever, about an hour, but it does get the laundry clean. Just need to play with it to see what mode of washing is quicker and still gets clothes cleaned. Oh, and to top off the month, we need to get tires for both cars. Why is it when you are getting a refund from the taxes every little need pops up! At least we will have the money to buy them. I’m going to get my clothes and other things ready for work tomorrow. Have a good evening and hope you’re safe and warm. Love you! Colleen |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: No the trees never hit the ground they are wedged in the tops of other trees. When and if they hit the ground they won't reach my house. We haven't lost the power anymore but my internet has been going in and out. I think we are going to be in for a windy spring. Sorry to hear about your rapid heart beat. I take 3 BP meds and one of them is to slow down my heart rate. It hasn't bothered me in year. But it makes you feel nervous when it races like that. Sorry you had to be at the ER that long. Let me know how your consultation with the Cardiologist goes. I have to go pay my property taxes Monday. That's always fun. Corned beef sounds very good. Enjoy. Kyra |
