Wow -- what an excuse. Speaker of the House -- minority leader of the Senate-- ain't really junior players.   Big holes in your argument. 

Also  when you consider -- Biden's & Kamala's buddies were encouraging the mobs, by paying their bail, and releasing them back onto the streets.  Atrocious, on the radar of any thinking person,  peace loving person.  And Kamala herself [almost wishing?] predicting the mobs would be continuing.  I'll call these actions damning evidence -- linkage indicating a some degree of responsibility against those two for the continuation of the rioting.
