Francis Scott Key's National Anthem, the Star Spangled Banner is among my personal favorite songs to sing AND there's only one National Anthem, PERIOD !!!!!!!!!
Especially for this guy, born in Baltimore, and a big fan of Ft McHenry. Also, a big fan of the Battle of Baltimore, including the phrase ". . .our flag was still there. . . " And also a fan of Wells & McComas, the teen age sharp shooters who shot the British General who was leading his soldiers, advancing from North Point towards the city. Such memories may also be in your wheel house. Which is why I skip all those pregame antics. |
