The manufacturers of war planes, ammo, uniforms and transportation vehicles, along with the numerous corporations with contracts to supply the ships and bases, will vehemently disagree.  Worse yet:  Ask the senior military officers, who received promotions based on ghost kills, if the meat grinder was all for naught.
