Yes, from what I'm seeing, there's now arrangements/requirements for some levels of due process.
For example, when a cop witnesses some violations of law, he can do an arrest on the spot, in the field. And that's whether the suspect is a citizen or an illegal immigrant -- makes no difference. Don't always need a court issued arrest warrant for a valid arrest. Yet media glosses over such kinds of variations. Seems its a developing area to be watched. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks. That said, any PERSON in US has a constitutional right to due process of some minimal level. Jim is suggesting all these arrests will result in sending to a foreign prison with no due process. That is not going to be the case, but Trump set himself up for the accusation - unnecessarily so. |
