If it makes real sense, democrats are against it. If it doesn’t make sense but makes them feel good they’re all in. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Dave (& ALL) The details of Vivek Ramaswamy's energy policies were recently reported from his speeches at the Iowa caucuses. Click Here Here's some quotes illustrating his energy ideas: << Near the end of almost every stump speech, Vivek Ramaswamy preaches, "God is Real. There are two genders. Fossil fuels are a requirement of human prosperity." << the U.S. needs to . . "embrace American energy, because we drill, we frack, we burn coal." << "Dig, frack, burn coal, embrace nuclear" << Ramaswamy often hammers home his support for nuclear energy. He called nuclear energy "the most abundant form of energy known to man." << The easiest way to deal with reducing our national debt problem --take the natural resources underneath this country, oil and natural gas specifically, get them out of the ground and sell them. I would add these comments. American sales of oil and natural gas overseas would profit the nation, including the federal budgets. Also, because the fossil fuels are the most economical, that would benefit both businesses as well as individuals. And these would bolster reliability, compared with the intermittent wind & solar sources. In addition, the US produced products burn cleaner than the imported versions, as well as avoiding transportation on oil-fired ships. Important environmental gains. Recall how Trump did achieve American energy independence, and we were selling oil & natural gas overseas. This would mesh nicely with Ramaswamy's energy ideas, or with the DeSantis policy, also announced recently. |
