Bob you asked that someone track it down.
Quote" we were sitting on his couches, and I was looking at his pant leg and his perfectly creased pant,” Brooks says, “and I’m thinking, a.) he’s going to be president and b) he’ll be a very good president.” And you'll be further grossed out with the other stuff, -- other queasy context in the report. For example, phrases like "fetishization of populism" A crock of . . . . Another "be hard to find a more loathsome expression of intellectual elitism"

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Me: Indeed. How else would you know the degree to which your suit trousers are to be creased? I thought a bit, and decided perhaps I should explain. Years ago, I came upon a column by the NYT's David Brooks. He attended a campaign dinner hosted by Barry. In the column, Mr. Brooks said something to the effect, "the crease in his trousers convinced me Obama would make a great president." The column might be out there in the either net; ... just too tired to make the effort to track it down. |
