Six or seven inches to the end of the century are the global waters increase estimates, which are accepted. These are estimates from non-activist global warming advocates. At those moderate levels many folks are unconcerned. I'm in that unconcerned group, even though my home is on the non-bulkheaded section of Mankiln Creek. How about you?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Discussion carried over from OP Forum Land subsidence on Delmarva has been discussed by scientists for perhaps half a century (or more) earlier than waters rising due to climate effects. Yet both are contributing to ghost forests. But their rates are very slow, so many folks are unaware, or are not worried.
Perhaps there needs to be an environmental program promoting such tree plantings. |
