Huh? Not sure where you got that misinformation. BA = Bachelor of Arts = 4-year degree BS = Bachelor of Science = 4-year degree AA = Associate of Arts = 2-year degree - Usually a Community College Degree (WorWic, etc.)

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: a "BA" is a two-year degree, like what you'd get from a community college.  Many don't even consider a "BA" a degree at all, minimum being a "BS" degree from a university.   Certainly a BA qualifies you for next to nothing, except maybe getting into a real 4 year program.
