Our Long Island relatives have been into some Toyota and Korean models and well satisfied with driving them 200K plus mileages. Gasoline powered. Great for long commutes. Around here we've been [mostly] long time GM drivers. And seeing no reasonable arguments to switch.
We're among seniors who aren't really comfortable with very much downsizing that's become so popular. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If anyone is interested in new SUVS, you may want to check out the new Mitsubishi Outlander. I checked one out, very nice, rides great, looks nice in and out. all wheel /4-wheel dr. around 30 grand. 181 hp ,181$#torque. 10 yr. /100,000-mile warranty. We have owned 2 Mitsubishis, a Lancer, and Diamante. Have had very few problems with either, mostly regular routine things. Wife still drives her 2004 Lancer, and I can't pry it away from her. Sorry for my ranting. |
