Although your message referred to "possible solutions" --seems that one important part of finding solutions is identifying the associated problems. Especially in the realm of politics.
Boundaries don't work in political discussions-- Because there's always freedom of speech to criticize the "other side" Happens all the time. Here's another example, illustrating this point. Any solutions for bussing illegals to New York, DC, Chicago won't be resolved without addressing the biggest problem of open borders and millions coming in. Recall that both Gov Abbott & Biden sent those illegals to NY and elsewhere, by planes and by busses. Sorry, but seems very inadequate to seek political solutions, as you've referred to, without recognizing problems. Boundaries are too restrictive to be workable. Whether its our 'COVID' discussion here, or the illegal immigrants bussing question. My two cents. Meanwhile, have a nice day. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The Other_______ you refer to was in a list of possible solitions to a specific problem (COVID and how to prevent its spread.) So using that Other to branch off into some topic other than COVID would really be a deflection to some other subject the the responder wanted to express without finishing the topic at hand. I would recommend that the responder start a now subject for a fresh conversation and allow the original to continue on its own. |
