Not afraid of COVID? COVID, at it's peaks. was a killer. Those who did not respect that were ignoring reality. That's why I commented about the other diseases/vaccines.
I would postulate that the VAST majority of people who were and are very skeptical of the Covid vaccines have that skepticism only about the Covid vaccines. To suddenly jump to the other vaccines, even to questioning vaccinating children, was entirely disrespectful and irrelevant, which you must know in your heart of hearts. What did you do to protect yourself from COVID? Do you have any personal experiences to share? I don't wish to discuss my own issues and attitudes toward Covid right at the moment--perhaps another time. I just wanted to impress upon you that it truly sounded like you were intentionally trying to make Dave sound like an idiot by making those comments. Unless Dave specifically said he also thought all vaccines were not worth his time, and by the way, that children should not be vaccinated either, bringing that up was unnecessary. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Mark, I was replying to this almost 2 years after my original post: Dave Walter wrote in message #1192115 : I don't know if you read my original post (nor do you have any interest in that What Dave posted above has no relevant content. No facts. Not afraid of COVID? OK. Respect the danger. Do what you can to protect yourself and your family and friends. Be responsible. I am not jumping to any conclusions here. If there is a threat, and someone says I am not afraid of it, that doesn't mean that person is being responsible but ignoring it. Not afraid of COVID? COVID, at it's peaks. was a killer. Those who did not respect that were ignoring reality. That's why I commented about the other diseases/vaccines. To ask if that was the way Dave treated his health care, in general. The COVID vaccines, while not perfect or conventional vaccines, did save lives. Although anecdotal, I did post about my situation, and a parallel situation with someone I know. Easy recovery at home for me vs. two trips to intensive care / ventilator / near death, for a person younger than me who refused vaccination, refused to wear a mask, etc.. What did you do to protect yourself from COVID? Do you have any personal experiences to share? |
