I have grandkids ... that know nothing of history.
I asked a senior attending William Penn High School who was William Penn. (Crickets) He's not taught in a school named for him! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Actually, kids should know how to spell their name before entering school. I have grandkids that graduated high school in the last couple of years that know nothing of history. Wasn't taught. This is in Maryland too. Sad Fact. This will never change unless Teachers Union is done away with., Ask yourself what they actually do that benefits the kids. |
