It's just mean-spirited comments thrown into the mix for no reason other than to--apparently--make someone feel better after having his ideas criticized by many others. I may think you have incredibly lame, poorly thought out ideas, and will tell you so, but I'm not going to call you an asshat for no good reason. There IS a difference. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I wasn’t complaining about mean-spiritedness. Mark was. I couldn’t possibly care less. It’s a political forum... Things are going to get hot from time to time. Doesn’t bother me in the least. I pointed out that he seemed to get distressed only when I engaged in it, but didn’t mind when people he is ideologically aligned with did. And I’ll take shots at Conservatives all I want, thanks. The echo-chamber that this forum has evolved into seems to have no problem whatsoever taking shots at Liberals and Moderates, so why would Conservatives be above criticism? |
