My point was that libraries should offer access to diverse sources of information / literature / history, etc. If some people are offended by certain materials then they don't have to read it. Obviously everything is not approriate for all ages. It is important for parents to guide their children toward that which is age-appropiate. And librarians / educators should not be forcing inapproriate sexual material on 6-8 year olds.
