Tucker Carlson is unafraid to bring up some off beat topics -- stuff that other commentators fear to address. Here's a first example of Tucker's many unusually interesting topics
Recently Tucker had on the "turncoat" -- a professor who worked for the Obama administration, who is contesting Global Warming. This professor is, Dr Steve Koonin of NY university. He also has appeared recently on several other shows. Kinda reminded me of the Michael Moore movie criticizing climate change-- titled Planet of the Humans. Many Dems called Moore a turncoat, for that film. Gee whiz Two notable challengers of the Dem's central themes -- former believers --supporters of global warming-- now expressing doubts. Koonin's message has two main components-- the predicted, coming temps are not at crisis levels despite being touted by the govt -- And that natural forces are pushing temps upwards, not just man's CO2. Koonin also points out that its uncertain whether CO2 is in fact driving temps. He mentions cooling for about 30 yrs in the middle of last century, temps noticeably falling even though CO2 was consistently rising. Koonin likes to call his criticisms "factoids" and they are facts taken directly from official UN and US published climate sources, -- down in the detailed records -- not in the politicized summaries. The professor's recently published book is titled: Unsettled ?-- What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn’t Do you recall those 1970's predictions that an Ice Age was coming?? Here is a magazine cover, with that headline. Time Magazine and others carried that same story. Turned out to be a false alarm. Another example of how climate scientists can be and in fact were wrong. Image Title: 1970's Predictions of Ice Age | ||||||
