We've stopped donating to any "sheriff's, state troopers or police associations" when retiring & moving here.  An economics move when adjusting to retirement income.  ALSO --  there's been reports these groups have been infiltrated with phony non-lawmen groups.   They originally got my name when I passed the Md. bar exams and became eligible to practice law.

Yet about two decades later, we're still getting phone requests.  Tough to get my name off those lists.
