HI there, hope you are staying warm and have power. We’re in between storms at the moment. The last one was Monday and finally had sun yesterday and today. Drying out a bit. Next storm Saturday through Monday and more next week. Looks like the snowpack is 150% above average so that is good for our water supply and the drought percentages are dropping around the state. Now if our “smart” legislators would plan for things like this we would have additional storage capacity for water built instead of a bullet train to nowhere we’d be storing the rain.
Work has been hectic, both my coworker and I have been working our butts off getting stuff done. Next week I will start working on review reports again and not just data entry. Will see how that goes. I sent one of my favorite authors one of the scarves I made in red (her favorite color) and she loved it. Sent me a picture of her wearing it. Her name Vicki Lewis Thompson and I have been reading her books for many years now. We’ve struck up a friendship over time and I wish we had been able to meet when Damon was doing the Tour de Tucson bicycle rides. I think I will start heading to bed. Usually takes me about 30 minutes to finally land in bed after getting stuff ready for tomorrow. Hope you are doing good, staying warm and dry. Thinking about all of you out that way. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hope you had a nice Christmas. We had a quite one. At least we had heat all day Christmas. Today we got another couple of inches. It's suppose to get above freezing some time today. I still can't get out of the driveway. The plows have not been out so we won't be going anywhere <G>. Now cars have been down our street in four days now. It's still snowing. We finally got to do laundry yesterday since they were not turning the power on and off. Also they asked people not the use their washers, dryers, and ovens. But yesterday they lifted that restriction. Have to run Rebecca wants her shoes on. Love Kyra |
