Your message is a good illustration of a double standard. Preaching forgiveness be granted to the Dems speaking all kinds of violence. Reports like: -- Oh they just didn't mean anything at all. Forget all those words of violence.
But turn up the heat onto Trumps side. Dream up hidden messages and meanings. Assign dark motives. Conjure up fictitious plots, fictitious mob examples. Make up something, when there's no violent words you can find. Innuendo, hidden plotting, out of thin air Double standard: Forget about actual words of violence spoken VS Make up some fictitious words [or plots] that were never spoken. Seems a usual media trick. Doesn't hold water. Established part of the media's playbook. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tom, Do you think the people you quoted meant what they said literally? Did any of them carry it out? Of course not. Those were metaphors not plans of action. Trump would never say such things directly. He is a master of subtle, coded, Mob speak, and he uses it to his advantage. When a mob boss wants to eliminate someone who is no longer of use, he doesn't call for him to be killed. He asks a gang member to take him for a ride in the dessert. Pence didn't do the "right thing", so Trump "doesn't like him as much as he used to." |
