1. Rudy called for “trial by combat.”
2. The name of the “rally” was “Stop the Steal” - To me, Stop implies action.
3. Save America March was paid for by Save America PAC that Trump has used since the election to scam voters out of over $300 million for election defense.
4. Trump: “These people (the rioters) are not going to take it any longer...They came from all over the country. I just really want to see what they do”
5. Trump: “All of us here today do not want to see our election victory stolen by emboldened radical Left Democrats...We will never give up. We will never concede.”
6. Trump: “I hope Mike Pence will do the right thing. (Pence had already told Trump he would not interrupt the certification.) “because if Mike Pence does the right thing, we'll win the election...He has the absolute right to do it, he's supposed to protect our country, support our country, support our Constitution and protect our Constitution...All Vice President Pence has to do is send it back to the states to re-certify, I just spoke to Mike and I said, 'that doesn't take courage, what takes courage is to do nothing.'”
7. Trump it telling the crowd that he is threatening Pence. Doing nothing is an act of courage because Pence is endangering himself. Within an hour, Pence is being evacuated from the house chamber, crowds are calling for his death, and armed imvaders are hunting in the halls of the Capitol.

Seems that some folks are just following the media reports of what occurred, and reporter's versions of what the Prez said. I heard mostly all of that speech last Wednesday. And I've double checked against the published transcript. Click Here

Here's comments from that review of the transcript:
< Six times Trump mentions “walk” down to the capitol.
< One time he mentions “march” within these remarks, this context: “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
< Notice the wording “peacefully and patriotically” included among his remarks. Interesting!!
< Notice that there is no mention of any words like “stop the counting of electoral votes” in Trump's remarks, as your message incorrectly assumes.
< There is no mention of words like: "action nor violence” as your message implied.
< There is no mention of words like: “implored, nor urged” as your message implied.

Hope this transcript will help clarify, and provide additional background to folks -- seeing what was actually said.

You'll recall I'm supporting all the law enforcement efforts -- to arrest and charge those who broke in or committed any vandalism at the Capitol. That was clearly wrong.

Of course, such violent actions were contrary to Trump's instructions, when he was saying “peacefully and patriotically.”

Gee – wonder why the media failed to mention that wording of Trump's speech?? An interesting inconsistency in the facts vs most reporter's versions. 180 degrees. Opposites.
