Trump may be a lot of things, but a General he is not. [Did I forget to say 'bone spur?'] He has fired many competent Generals who seriously tried to help him. He has been his own worst enemy. If he had taken the advice of some [not all!] of those he appointed in the early months of 2017, he would probably have been reelected. Now, he is surrounded by 'yes' men who are afraid to tell him when he is wrong. AND, the Senate Republicans have been silently complicit for the last four years! There must have been some way, some how for all of these experienced people to break through and guide him in a successful direction. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Good generals on the battlefields will always instill in their troops the will and confidence to win, regardless of the odds. Seems that's on Trump's mind. And too early to fold their tents |
