When a national election is rigged its time to lose sleep.
Presumably we need to consider what actiions we can take to help prevent such things in future. I suppose that the proper technology to counter this "Hammer" software mentioned elsewhere on this forum. As far as I can tell, public institutions always use tech that is maybe 10 to 15 years behind the curve in comparison with the cutting edge. Weren't there rumors of IRS or some other gov authority using 1970's tech as recently as 2005? If the tech is very OLD stuff then it seems far more subject to such attacks as the one suggested here on other threads. Related to this is the debacle that took place at the DEM primary in IOWA where they had no result for more than a week. Maybe the first line of attack is to get some higher tech in EVERY state, then get better security on said tech... Doug |
