Seems that some Dems who were hoping to increase their numbers within the house are disappointed to be losing seats. They were perhaps looking for a blue wave that did not materialize. Instead they lost 5 seats (net), to date. And this unrest could lead to electing someone else (not Nancy) as their Speaker of the House. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Glenn This afternoon seems very clear that the Repubs will still control the Senate. Which means there's ability to block tax overhauls & Supreme Court packing, etc. Market analysts called that the reason for today's market strength. Some might call that situation --- gridlock Perhaps -- A bright spot today, among many clouds. But I'm not so sure about the curtailing fracking issue, if Biden wins. Tom |
Here's a news story that may give conservatives a smile. Seems there's some unrest among some Dems about keeping Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House for the new year. This may or may not be accomplished, but its interesting to hear about.
