They haven't voted yet. Committee hearing coming next, before the full Senate voting.
But historic precedents are there. There's two categories of historic examples. When the president's party also controls the Senate, the precedents are to move ahead with nominations and have the Senate voting to confirm. When the president's party does not control the Senate, the precedents are to delay. You'll see links to those analyses, those articles, within this thread. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The republican senators have already voted to confirm even prior to the nomination or hearings. Desperate people do desperate things. Who needs elections or ballots. Not like that is constitutional or anything. |
