For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: . . . if he loses on election night, he just might give the orders to 'end by all means' starting November 4th. Very real possibility. Likely he would get legal opinions based on the Posse Comitatus Act or the Insurrection Act. Presidents who used the Insurrection act included Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and George H W . . . . in modern times.
