I don't watch CNN or MSNBC, but I hear all the teleprompters are parading quotes from the DNC's "speech was too long" memo.  The Marxist State Media became unhinged: "I fully expect Trump to hammer Basement Guy- really go after him."  This is what the media was promising all week-- his acceptance speech will be laced with invectives and insults, and delivered in the manner of a bully and hooligan. But, they've been wrong about Trump from Jump Street and he was out to prove it to the Independents; it was obvious they were his target.

He was measured, composed and on point throughout. A few barbs were tossed, but nothing close to what the alphabets and cables expected.  Honestly, I can't recall any time his voice was raised in anger.  He made modulation adjustments to emphasize a point, but nothing close to the "Growling away like an old mastiff with a sore throat." (Dickens)
