Another fascinating speaker was Dan Crenshaw. Although his 3-3/4 min speech was among the shortest, it carried the message of the greatness and determination of the people of the US. Some might say that his losing one eye fighting as a navy seal, and coming back to serve in congress demonstrates that same kind of true grit.
Here's a quote from the speech: "The American spirit reflects the oldest and most important virtues: self-sacrifice, courage, tolerance, love of country, grace, and passion for human achievement" This one was recorded on the deck of a battleship in LePorte, Texas. Enjoy Tom |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So many interesting & fascinating people we've seen speaking at the RNC Convention. Sister Deirdre Byrne brings a background of service as a retired military physician, a retired colonel Her service overseas included Afghanistan and in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. As a missionary surgeon, she helped the sick in Kenya, Haiti, Sudan and Iraq. Also after 9/11 she assisted the injured including fire fighters. Regardless of whether folks agree with her Pro-life advocacy on behalf of the unborn, we can all respect her accomplishments. Tom |
