You forgot ABC, NBC, and CBS. ![]() News Nation claims to be an unbiased network, though I don't believe any such thing truly exists. They have a mix of journalists as far as backgrounds go. Some left (eg., Chris Cuomo), some right. The debate itself will be hosted by, among others, former Fox personality Megyn Kelly. News Nation is available on some cable services as well as streaming services. As far as I'm concerned, if there is any chance of at least fair reporting, I'm all for another network. We could use more conservative news. I think Fox is pretty good. I want to like Newsmax--I tend to agree with their points of view, but they are in no way unbiased. They are extremely right wing and they shove their viewpoint down your throat. What really ticks me off is how they are constantly beating up on Fox. Don't they understand that Newsmax and Fox are the only conservative news sources out there, and need to stick together, or at least not beat each other up? You don't see all the left wing news networks picking on each other, because if they know nothing else, they know how stupid that would be. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Mark I noticed that the fourth GOP debate is to be held on a relatively new TV news network entitled “News Nation” How many individual cable TV news sources do we really need? CNN MSNBC FOX Newsmax and now “News Nation.” There is a biblical verse - gospel of James? - which states “let there not be too many teachers for we will be subject to a judgment“ In violation of that biblical edict it seems that the number of teachers is multiplying without limit. And I dont think that’s really a good thing. A very practical reason why it is NOT good is that the audience for the fourth GOP debate will be greatly reduced merely by the fact that people don’t know how the heck to get “News Nation” Doug |
