Here's the latest example of news reports raining on the greenies EV parade. And it comes just when the COP-28 conference is beginning.
The widely respected Consumer Reports organization has announced that EVs have 79% worse reliability records than conventional internal combustion vehicles. Plug-in hybrids fared even worse-- these had 146 percent more issues than conventional ICE vehicles. Models from the years 2021 to 2023 were in the analysis. Failures of electric motors, charging, and battery problems make up most of the EV complaints. EVs have 79% more reliability problems than gas cars, says Consumer Reports Click Here Electric vehicle owners report 80% more problems than with conventional cars and trucks amid ‘growing pains’ for the industry, Consumer Reports says Click Here And this unreliability report comes shortly after 3,800 dealerships have complained about govt pushing too hard in favor of EVs. Those vehicles are stacking up on dealer lots as the public has already soured against the multiple problems with those costly EVs, and now deemed unreliable. Seems these various EV problems represent just one more of the public's examples of resistance against the greenie climate gurus and their oppressive control. Most folks aren't buying those EVs !! The assemblage of hundreds of greenie representatives for COP-28 conference will likely establish record amounts of gasoline burned in their private jets, while telling the public to junk their gas stoves and suffer power shortages by closing their coal power plants. For last year's COP27, there were emissions linked travel there was estimated as 44,104 tons of CO2. Those tons were from about 315 private jet flights. Click Here Click Here And this year's COP-28 is expected to have a worse carbon footprint. Big hypocrites. Likely to generate more & more public resistance. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Today's headlines reported there's a letter sent to Biden, signed by 3,800 dealerships objecting to Biden's pushing of EV's. All 50 states and representing all major brands signed on. Maryland had 98 dealers signing. Initial EV enthusiasm has quickly stalled -- despite deep price cuts, manufacturer incentives, and generous government tax rebates & subsidies. Electric vehicles are stacking up on dealer lots indicating lack of customer interest in buying. Dealers say some customers have even traded their EVs back in, complaining their driving range was reduced by towing a trailer or cold temperatures. Tires on an EV wear out much faster too & customers have complained. Quote: “Mr. President, it is time to tap the brakes on the unrealistic government electric vehicle mandate. Allow time for the battery technology to advance. Allow time to make EVs more affordable. Allow time to develop domestic sources for the minerals to make batteries,” the letter stated. Click Here |
