In today‘s world it’s very unfortunate that we all expect negativity and sarcasm.

To avoid being misconstrued I was being sincere when I thanked you for your dilligent self correction. I was not trying to be negative or sarcastic at all. 

it’s a good thing to check oneself. Dad worked as an accountant all his life and his middle name is “double check “ and there‘s nothing wrong there!
