Dave (& ALL)
Here's another wrong media story supporting your earlier message saying The climate nuts always cook the numbers. NO !! July 2023 was not the Hottest ever, nor a crisis indication. Thus the Boston newspaper is wrong in trying to push its agenda--falsely claiming there's a crisis at hand, and they're wrongly asserting this current year was uniquely the hottest. Quotes from 9/17/2023 newspaper report: "research is finding that periods of heat and humidity so great that humans cannot survive without sources of cooling are likely coming much sooner than previously believed. . . That kind of heat — six hours or more of 95 degrees and 100 percent humidity — would be deadly to a person without access to cooling." Click Here But when the weather station records are consulted a different story emerges. Massachusetts weather stations have recorded temperatures over that number cited of 95F (35C) 1,438 times since 1893. Record temps in that New England region were also noted at 106 in Nashua, N.H. & Bangor, Maine, 105 in Vernon, Vt, and at 104 in Boston (a record that still stands.) Thus indicating that 2023's heat wave was NOT unprecedented, was NOT only a recent occurance, and its NOT A CRISIS. Nor is there any quickening of the hot spells, dating all the way back to the 1893 data. Without today's air conditioning capability, there was indeed an ominous threat to life from the July 1911 heat wave. Ironically that 1911 heat wave was also reported in Boston newspapers. BUT, Why are they blind to their own history???? Click Here Its all evidence of this false Boston Globe newspaper report and similar media messages being WRONG again-- pushing their political agenda. | ||||||
