I don't know who you are referring to as Mister Don, sorry.
I like Vivek a lot but I don't see him getting elected this time out. Frankly, I think Republicans will try to elect Trump, which seems a mistake. I think they are blinded by their outrage at the Democrats over the phony criminal charges against him, which are all ephemeral Democrat nonsense, and they are bound and determined to elect Trump despite that. I say it's a mistake not because of the charges and most Democratic's hatred for Trump, but because I would like to see a more mature individual elected, one who doesn't make public comments calling other people schoolyard names. Mr. Trump was a very good president, but his time is over, and I wish he'd accept it. He is not going to, however, so that pretty much means people like Vivek Ramaswamy have no chance. Will Vivek see elected office in the future? He very will could. He is young enough that just about all the others on the last Republican debate stage will be far too old to compete for the jobs when Vivek is still in his prime. I'd like Governor DeSantis to be elected, but he, too, greatly trails Mr. Trump. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I heard that Mister Don stated that he watched the first GOP debate and he likes Mister Ramaswamy (“Vivek”). Now what is the effect of such an announcement? Does it help or hurt Vivek’s chances to land the US presidency? Does Vivek stand any chance at all to become US commander in chief? Does Vivek stand any chance to remain important at all in public life if he fails to get into the Oval Office? Thanks for your kind attention. your friend, Doug |
