I'd like to believe that too, but I think much of the far left, which seems to have mostly taken over the Democrat party, has for the most part lost contact with reality.  I worry that those people just won't accept the fact that Democrat policies are indeed failing across the board.  I can't believe the number of Democrats on TV that repeatedly state that Biden is doing a great job (), that this or that aspect of the country is doing great, etc.  Okay, I'd expect that from people in the political game, but I'm concerned that everyday people on the progressive left actually buy into this. 

I hope my worries are misplaced and the American people are smarter than that.  But then I turn the TV back on and see morons standing in the street blocking traffic so people cannot get to work or to the hospital or other places they need to be, and I see people trying to glue themselves to airport runways, and I see people swearing at women for speaking out about men invading their locker rooms, and, well, you see why I worry...
