YES Another tragedy from driving an EV. Again, sorry to hear that kind of news.
There's also been messages here earlier, how salt water flooding can short out the EV batteries, and cause intensely hot fires, reducing the EV to a pile of rubble. Same result, drowning or burning. Tragic fate.. Image Title: Tesla charred remains hauled away  |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I realize this is an old thread but I looked through the backlog just to post this thought. Here in SC we had a big storm in mid December. A much loved teacher was caught in her car as she entered deep water in the road. Her electric car battery shorted out and she couldn't release the door locks. She died by drowning. I don't remember seeing that part of the story covered in the local news. |
