This is a major problem coming to USA! California never has enough electricity and still wants more batteries! I don’t understand the logic

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: China has the greatest number of coal-fired power stations of any country or territory in the world. As of July 2022, there were 1,118 operational coal power plants on the Chinese Mainland.  India had 285 and the US had 225 China & India are building an amazing proliferation of new coal powered stations, while the US is (unwisely) taking them out of service.  China 128,000+, India 36,000+
