| A lawyer said that it is already illegal to block or impede traffic, even if just standing in the road. If law enforcement would force them to move we might stop it, but the powers that be won't stand behind the police (in almost anything of late). | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If that prank of gluing themselves, as public obstructions, would be outlawed by legislation making it a crime, this might become a deterrent. Maybe 30 day's in jail, allowing no bail before trials, and to actually bring prosecutions -- perhaps that could help. Grounds would be obstruction of hospital bound traffic, ambulances, fire fighters constituting potential life or health threats, blocking public necessities such as police, water, sewage & utility repairs, potential loss of wages from losses of work hours, etc.. |
