No. But I do find the 2.1 F (1.18 C) warmer than the average July between 1951 and 1980 to be significant.
NOAA says: “The average temperature of the contiguous U.S. in July 2023 was 75.7°F, 2.1°F above average, ranking 11th warmest in the 129-year record. Generally, July temperatures were below average in the central and northern Plains and Upper Midwest.” Note the 11th warmest |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: And you find the .4 degree higher to be alarming? No. But I do find the 2.1 F (1.18 C) warmer than the average July between 1951 and 1980 to be significant. |
