![]() ![]() Section 5: States Subject: DeSantis Climate Change Msg# 1192316

The NASA site says:
Overall, July 2023 was 0.43 degrees Fahrenheit (F) (0.24 degrees Celsius (C)) warmer than any other July in NASA’s record, and it was 2.1 F (1.18 C) warmer than the average July between 1951 and 1980. Does anyone, in their wildest imagination believe the federal government can measure temperatures over vast geographic area down to less than a half of a degree with a confidence level to indicate it means climate change due to human activity? Even if the half degree is accurate, is it earth threatening or just a warm July within modern record keeping. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: NASA Clocks July 2023 as Hottest Month on Record Ever Since 1880 Image below from Jim Matthews - Image Title: July 2923 Temp Anomaly Uploaded: 9/3/2023 ![]() I know that many on here will say that NASA is just a corrupt as all of government, etc. And some will post charts that go back millions or billions of years. I'm not sure how relevant all that is to records over the last 140+ years which bring us from the beginning of the industrial revolution up to present day. But some will deflect discussion of modern science into whatever they can dig up that seems to support their political agenda. This should not be about politics. Why try to make it so?
