Here's another constitutional violation, and flaunting Biden's sworn oath.
Prohibiting cruel and unusual punishment -- 8th amendment: Prisoners of the Jan6 who entered the Capitol have been beaten, and tortured and subjected to some unbearable conditions. Last October 2022 a group of 34 Jan6 prisoners signed a letter requesting to be moved to "Gitmo," pointing out that conditions were better there, than the multitude of abuses prisoners are enduring at the D.C. prison. Among the abuses are: withholding needed medical care, non-functioning toilets, broken sinks, Mice, cockroaches & Black mold in cells, beatings, waterboarding, sexual assault, and sleep deprivation. Also, extended solitary confinement, no visitors including refusing access to visiting Congressmen & denying some attorneys access. In July 2021 three congress members were denied from visiting with JAN6 prisoners. Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz (Fla.), Majorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) and Louie Gohmert (Texas) were turned away from the D.C. prison when they tried to visit accused Jan. 6 prisoners & interview the facility supervisor. Allegations of mistreatment were one reason for the attempted visit. Quotes: "Lawyers for Jan. 6 defendants have claimed that their clients have been beaten by jail guards, held in solitary confinement" " What is Merrick Garland hiding?" " We suspect that there is a two tier justice system in the United States for Trump supporters that are charged for January 6 and catch and release... for Antifa and BLM rioters" Click Here Report titled: 34 Capitol riot defendants sign letter asking to be moved to Guantanamo Click Here Another: Jan. 6 defendants say they'd rather be in Guantanamo Bay than D.C. jail Click Here Besides violating Biden's sworn oath and his constitutional duty, this extends to flaunting the sworn oath taken by Attorney General Merrick Garland. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It may sound like a cop-out, but you did such a super job outlining most of them in your initial thread message that nothing else immediately came to mind. ![]() ![]() |
